President’s Mid-Summer Classic at Raspberry Falls
As Yogi Berra once said, it’s “déjà vu all over again.” We are going to try once more. This time it is all me. This is my personal invitation to join me at Raspberry Falls https://www.raspberryfalls.com/ July 15th for a shotgun start and Italian buffet dinner after.
Raspberry Falls is the oldest consistent stops on the ASGA DC Chapter schedule, and arguably the one of the top courses in the DMV. This Gary Player design is both challenging and fair with a variety of tee boxes to fit your game. For those big hitters don’t forget to visit the falls behind the elevated tees on hole 18.
Afterwards we will be treated to Raspberry’s version of an Italian buffet. It’s not like my mother made but it is quite tasty. The spread is the same as in years past, however a few tweaks have been arranged to better allow you to tailor your dinner plate to your specific dietary preferences.
Your board and I feel you should get something from a portion of your dues so the decision has been made to provide a $10 discount for this event. But wait, there’s more. In hopes that all of you don’t make me run for office for next year, I am personally kicking in $5 per person to pay for your first drink. (I know, I’m a hell of a guy and it’s my money and I’ll spend it how I wish). That’s golf, closest to the pin contest, end of the year raffle entry, and dinner for $110. So please, Let’s fill this event. Sign up now.
